Who is behind this?

Hi, I’m Cristina.

In the Welcome post on the home page you can find what this newsletter is about and where it comes from.

I am originally from Spain, but have lived in London for the past 14 years where I have survived Brexit, the pandemic, the end of the Crossrail works, and even the Eyjafjallajökull volcano eruption. You probably had forgotten about that one.

During this time I have worked in international business development. In my current role I promote London’s unique tech ecosystem to creative companies from all over the world. For more on my work you can visit LinkedIn profile.

Supporting creative tech companies has to be one of the best jobs I’ve had and doing that in London is a dream as I love the unrivalled cultural offer and creative energy of the city. In fact, I write another newsletter on culture and life in London and all things books, music, films and more.

Subscribe to The Age We Live in Now and join me in discovering how technology is changing our lives. It’ll be chaotic but I promise it’ll also be fun.

A tech and creative newsletter with a focus on London. In each edition I offer a round up of stories in an informative but fun way on what's new and why we non-tech people should care. And as a bonus, great cultural recommendations.

Just a girl in front of a screen writing about London, living abroad, culture and being human in the age of AI, all with a pinch of sarcasm. I believe Hugh Grant is Britain's finest export.
